i love the 2 episodes so far. i love the story line because they relate to other British African families. and i also like they way the writers have combined both the British and Nigerian culture to form as one.

    I found it really hilarious

it was funny, but it needs more comedic input.

honestly the most boring ‘comedy’ i’ve ever watched. Didn’t make me close to laughing once. The laughter track in the background is embarrassing and it comes on at the wrong times; if there is ever a right time for it. Poor acting and horrendous accents makes this a must not watch

The format and concept of the comedy is great, story line okay reflective of working class nigerian immigrant, the accent is over done at times so it comes out unnatural.its not flowing well we nigers are naturally funny, let it flow naturally the way we normally are.still am impressed well done keep it up,story line strrong need to work on the comedy input, the pastor did well out of all the cast.

CONSTRUCTIVE CRITISICM – THE SHOWS A GREAT AND EDUCATIONAL IDEA BUT PLEASE DO NOT JUST RELY ON THE NIGERIAN ACCENT AND EXPRESSIONS TO MAKE IT FUNNY..NEEDS MORE COMDEY !

  • Roliemiko

liked it but i don’t think but i there should be some more comic act to it.

The idea is good but the execution is bad. The comedy is very dry…Africans are very funny (esp. Nigerians), so the jokes should come out more effortless…it seems too forced. The house set up is also a little forced. Every African household I’ve ever been to has never had kente cloth cover they’re home from floor to ceiling…IT’S NOT NECESSARY!! They’re African there’s no need to…the set looks a little fake. I applaud the efforts but we need to do better. The “Aunt” on the show seems more real to me, I can relate to her… I have women in my family like her. Instead of forcing the comedy with wack jokes, you should ask each actor to find someone in their families that reminds of the character and use them as inspiration for their characters. I like the show…just a little more attention to detail. Oh why aren’t there any pictures of the family in the living room. I see pictures of random of people in picture frame. A Nigerian family wouldn’t have that in the their household. Ask the actors to bring some pics of themselves to it make more authentic.

NIce episodes,i really liked it.Whosoever does not like those episodes and the acting should go and hug the transformer. For your information that accent”NIGERIAN ACCENT” is rated as the 5th sexiest accent in the world. If you dont appreciate what this people are doing, why cant you just get off this page and leave it for people who like, enjoy and apprecaite it.
