Who Are MTA Productions?

A number of people have been emailing to find out who exactly are MTA Productions LTD? How were they formed? Who are there and how did they decide to do an British African Sitcom?

Well I run MTA Productions along side Debra Odutuyo. Debra has a background of being an accomplished TV Producer who for years was trying to get to convince the mainstream TV networks that a sitcom about a Black British family was needed. She created Meet the Adebanjos from scratch and is one of the most inspirational people I have had the pleasure of working with. Her work ethic is second to none and she is all about not letting obstacles and set backs get in her way to achieve her dream.

I, (in the words of Pastor Michael), am her humble assistant :) and I handle the business side of the company

Andrew - Her humble Assistant

Over the next days, weeks and months I will be sharing with you how we were able to raise over 150K to make this dream a reality. How I run the company day to day, what challenges we face in trying to shake up the TV world and do something new regarding Black British TV content, how we think of new ideas and how we keep motivated to make it. I believe there are many out there who are looking to take that entrepreneurial leap and I aim to give you the benefit of our experiences and try and help you on the way to where you want to get to!!

So if you are into business, if you are young and looking for a new challenge, if you are tired of being told no you can’t make it or if you want to know how two kids who was born in a North Peckham council estate took a concept from paper to reality tune into this blog and hear what we got to say.

Feel free to be as interactive as possible and if there is any area or topic about business you want me to discuss just let me know!

    Hey there!

My names Debbie and after watching one episode of the show I have been captured and ITCHING to be apart of this!
I have some acting experience; auctions for eastenders, The Bill, Sarah Jane Adventures and many more, and wish to have just a little bit of your time to audition me to see whether I’ll be appropriate for your show!
I’ve asked my agency on countless occasions whether could possibly find me auditions where I could possibly stay close to my roots as I have been yearning for a Nigerian based character!
I am more than willing to provide you me with my showreel or even produce an audition tape!
Please take the time to consider!

    Many Thanks

    Debbie
